504          RADIO CONTROLLED VEHICLES - LEVEL 1    (Beginning Level  - 12-18 years old)

 

Project requirements:  Complete the “Planning Your Project” section of this book.  Explore Interest Areas 1 through 5.  Complete all activities in each Interest Area.  Take part in at least two Organized Activities.  Become involved in at least two Citizenship/Leadership activities.  Complete the project record on Page 40 and take part in a project review.  Purchase and assemble a radio controlled vehicle.  Judging requirements: Bring record of activities and finished project vehicle. Bring your completed project book. Know basic terminology and be prepared to discuss your project.

 

RADIO CONTROLLED VEHICLES - LEVEL 2

 

Project requirements:  Complete the “Planning Your Project” section of this book. Explore Interest Areas 6 through 11.  Complete all activities in each Interest Area.  You may develop your own, but must plan, do and evaluate them.  Take part in at least two Organized Activities.  Become involved in at least two Leadership/Citizenship activities.  Complete the project record on page 40 and take part in a project review.  Improve your Level 1 vehicle or purchase and assemble a new vehicle.  Judging requirements:  Bring a record of activities and finished project vehicle.  Bring your completed project book.  Be prepared to discuss your project.
