Join OSU Extension at the Guernsey County District Public Library to discover the basics of canning, freezing, and other methods of food preservation! These workshops will address topics such as: • Basic food safety principles • Water bath canner and pressure canner methods • Principles including canning tomatoes and pickling • Methods for freezing fruits and vegetables • Reliable, research-supported resources from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, OSU Extension, and others.
