  2. Guernsey County Extension Office Closed to walk-ins July 17 & 18, 2025

    Due to the entire Fairgrounds being rented for an outside event, the Guernsey County Extension Office will be closed for walk-ins on July 17 and 18, 2025.  The staff will be teleworking during this time and will be available for phone calls and emails. The office will officially be back open for business on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. While the Extension office will be open  July 14-16, 2025, be aware that if you are visiting us at our office, you are likely to encounter a lot of trucks and equipment being moved into the fairgrounds.

    The Guernsey County Extension Office will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025 in observance of Independence Day.  The office will re-open on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 8:00 a.m.

    The Guernsey County Extension office will be closed Thursday, June 19, 2025 in observance of Juneteenth.  The office will re-open on Friday, June 20 at 8:00 a.m.

    Ohio State Extension announced plans to host a Small Farm Conference in Wooster, OH on March 8th. The theme for this year’s Small Farm Conference is “Sowing Seeds for Success.”
